Taoist paintings and watercolors emphasize the humility of existence within the natural world, typically expressed as lone figures or inhabitants hidden among an endless landscape. My experience of the Natural World is heavily influenced by perspective, and much of my perspective comes from relationships I’ve held sacred. For this reason I cannot…or perhaps do not want to…draw boundaries between life, memory, and existence. To exemplify this using Taoist themes of Man and Nature is a deep interest of mine. This photo is an attempt to capture it.
