35mm film photograph, 2016

MN16020

A small truck-fueling station off Highway 10 at the 7th Avenue exit, a few miles south of my grandparents’ old property. This is from the first roll I ever took with the Minolta X-700 my Grandpa bought for me at a garage sale. The red and blue bands are from a light leak which I noticed and fixed. I’ve always loved tinkering with things and doing repairs, especially analogue and mechanical items. Just like Grandpa.
